Necessary Charges Other Than Product Price

Internet connection fees and any other fees to use the internet. Data charges may apply if you are using the service on a mobile device.

In general, commission & processing fees associated with payment gateways (Paypal, Stripe, Komoju etc.) will be deducted by the respective company before Natively English receives funds. 

Any bank transfer fee or additional fee beyond the aforementioned processing fees will be borne by the customer.
Fees vary depending on your financial institution, so please contact your financial institution if you have any questions.

Payment Method

When using the online store, multiple trusted payment gateways can be used. Examples of such include, but are not limited to: Paypal, Credit & Debit Cards, PayPay, RPay and LINEPay. Available payment methods may vary depending on the device used.

Payment Period and Timing

Natively English offers monthly subscription services, with each package granting access to a specific amount of classes during that payment period (although customers can freely choose which classes to book and attend). Your first monthly fee will be charged on the date of your subscription, and thereafter, on the same date every month. You can view your next billing date any time on your Account page (available after registration).

Services are made available to be booked immediately after registration is complete.

Subscription Price

Monthly prices are shown on the site.

Please refer to Packages for details on different plans.

Prices are advertised to be clear for potential customers, and are thus inclusive of tax. 

Any future price increases, although not currently planned, will be communicated clearly in advance (on the site and via email, at least 60 days before the change).

This will hopefully give customers adequate time to consider their decision to continue service or cancel.

Delivery Time

Delivery of the service is dependent on the customer to book their preferred classes from the available selection each month (up to their subscription allowance). Natively English will always deliver classes as advertised to the best of our abilities.

Business Hours

Open: In general, email correspondence will be responded to in a timely manner, usually between 9:00 and 21:00 on business days. Please allow for sufficient time to process your request. Please refer to the school calendar for specific information.

Closed: In general, Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays & New Year Holidays can be considered to be non-business days. Again, please refer to the school calendar for specific information.

Timing of Payment

Your first monthly fee will be charged on the date of your subscription, and thereafter, on the same date every month.


When the Service Starts

Services are made available instantly, once registration is complete. The customer will have responsibility and freedom of choice regarding which classes to book each month.

Cancellation of Service

Subscriptions can be cancelled, with a notice period of one month, by clicking the Cancel Membership link on your Account page.

Cancellation of Booking

If you make a booking by mistake or your plans change, please contact us as soon as possible to cancel your booking. If contact is made with more than 3 hours notice of the class start time, a booking credit will be given to be used to book any class in the future.

Repeated failure to give notice that is less than 3 hours before the class start time, may result in a penalty of 20% of the cost of admission to one class (current penalty would equal ¥1000). We do understand that emergencies happen, and will accommodate as best we can though, so it will depend on the individual circumstances of each client.

In the instance of a potential penalty charge, a booking credit will still be issued for further use, but additional payment may be required.
